Project: "Safe Roads for Children: Transforming Risky Routes into Paths to a Better Future" The church is the "second home" where children in the community gather, learn, and grow. However, the road leading to it is fraught with danger—rough, potholed, and slippery when it rains. Accidents have occurred, such as the one involving 9-year-old Nong Fah, who was injured when her car skidded and fell into a pothole. This tragedy highlighted our realization that child development is incomplete without safe access routes. Goals and Implementation: This project aims to address the problem of the damaged road leading to the church, protecting the lives of [number] children and youth, as well as their parents and local residents. Implementation Approach: Survey hazardous areas and plan road improvements (concrete paving/compacting with crushed stone). Fundraise from generous donors. Engage community volunteers in construction efforts, fostering community involvement. Expected Outcomes: Children will be able to travel to church safely, reducing accidents to zero, and building a stronger community for the future of our children.

The equipment and tools needed for road construction, personnel with knowledge of road construction, and the availability of stone and sand for road building are all necessary.
The group of village heads, volunteers, and community leaders participated in tasks such as compacting the topsoil, mixing cement, pouring concrete, and spreading crushed stone.

Maintenance and Sustainability Plan: The church and community have established a long-term management system for road maintenance without the need for repeated fundraising, as follows: 1. Road Maintenance Fund: Regular church donations are allocated monthly to a "Safe Road Maintenance Fund" as an emergency reserve to purchase materials for immediate repairs upon discovery of damage. 2. Volunteer Road Maintenance Team: Representatives from parents, women's groups, and youth inspect the road condition every 3–6 months. If cracks or clogged drainage are found, a community maintenance team will immediately repair them to prevent serious damage. 3. Network with Local Administrative Organizations (LAOs): Applications are submitted to the local municipality or sub-district administrative organization to include the road in their local development plan for long-term maintenance, concrete reinforcement, or lighting installation. 4. Community Collaboration: Joint effort fosters a sense of ownership and encourages community oversight, such as controlling truck weight and organizing "Volunteer Road Improvement" activities 1–2 times a year.
